~+Our 3rd Year Anniversary+~

Heez...

11th May is our 3rd year anniversary...

Woah....

Time flies..

Haha...

May sound so cliche...

But Me and Dear dear have known each other for 7 years le!!

Haha...

Sounds so long...

But together for 3 years only...

Heez...

We were so happy that 11th May is a school hols..

Dear dear and I can go celebrate on the actual day.

=)

Heez...
I had a craving for steak...

So dear dear brought me to Black Angus...

It's near Orchard Parade hotel..

Saw some comments of it on a food blog and it seems quite good..

Initially wanted to go Lawry's Prime Ribs de..

But the picture doesnt seem so tempting..

Haha..

So in the end we chose Black Angus...

We went out ard 7 plus at night..

Haha...

Slacked at home for the whole day..

Wanted to go shopping but in the end too tired to go out..

So just slack at home till 7 plus then leave house..

Dear dear left earlier...

To collect sth...

Suspicious suspicious..

Turn out he went to collect a bouquet of roses for me..

This time round is roses instead of tulips..

Cos I think roses can keep better...

After that we went to Tiffany and Co to collect my bracelet..

Heez..

Dear dear brought me to Tiffany and Co 2 weeks earlier to choose my present..

Heez..

I chose a Tiffany Bracelet with a charm...

Those classic kind...

Quite expensive...but it's bery classy...

However it needs alteration...

Cos too long...

So we went to collect on that day...

After taking my present...

We took a cab to Black Angus...

Seemed so silly...

Frm Taka take cab to orchard parade hotel there..

Board the cab already $ 5.80..

Haha...

The meter only jumped $0.80...

Haha...

Dinner at Black Angus was good..

Although the decor of the restaurant wasn't very romantic..

But there wasn't many people there tt night since it was a Monday nite...

They gave us seats that were quite secluded..

The restaurant had quite a texas feel...

Ordered a wild wild west onion bloom...

Like those at Outback...

For main course...

I order rib-eyed steak that comes with hay stick onions, vege and garlic mashed potato..

Dear dear ordered sirloin steak that comes with vege and french fries...

Both main course come with either a salad or soup..

Me got the clam chowder...

Dear dear got the salad...

The soup is just so yummilicious..

Haha...

Yum Yum...

The salad is quite nice too..

I didn't quite like my rib eye steak cos it's has too much fats....

But dear dear like it..

So we exchanged..

Heez..

I love the hay stick onions and the onion bloom..

Yummy!!

Nice dinner

I will surely go back again when I have cravings for steak..

The rib eye is really quite good...

And the portion were quite big..

Considering the fact that dear dear can eat quite a lot..

We couldn't finish our onion bloom and sides..

I couldn't even finish my sirloin...

Haha...

Open my presents at Black Angus..

Heez...

My bracelet...

Dear dear got me surprise presents!!

Haha..

He got a precious moment figurine for me..

I love it..

It's so sweet...

It says just married..

Haha...

I'm gonna need a glass cupboard to keep all my precious moment figurine in our house..

Haha...

It's really so sweet...

Sigh...

Dear dear oso got me a Agnes B necklace!!

Love it...

Haha...Surprised him with a pair of sandals..

Ran out of things to buy him le..

He has almost everything..

After dinner...

We took a slow stroll to Grand Hyatt's Mezza 9 Bar..

I love that place..

Went once with Dear dear..

My favourite is New Asia Bar..

I think Mezza 9 Bar is my second fav...

I like the lightings and the sofa seats..

They are cosy and comfortable..

Their drinks are quite good in the sense that they aren't stingy with the alcohol in the martinis..

I ordered my fav frozen strawberry margarita...

Asked Dear dear to order dessert wine as I wanna try if it's nice..

Then can bring QT there for our wine session if it's nice..

We drank slowly...

Just enjoying each other's company...

I like this type of chilling session...

Just relax and listen to the music and sip our drink slowly..

Heez...

We left around 11 plus since we need to work the next day...

That brings a end to our 3rd year anniversary celebration..

Oh yah...

Dear dear bought me these sometime back...

Cos dear dear got promoted...

Heez..

Happy for dear dear...

Been saving them for this special occasion...

Haha..

I love the Coach bag...

Will buy another one in black if Singapore has it...
Or anyone going to USA??

Can help me get it???

I had a great 3rd year anniversary..

Like don really need to do this...

~+Wine @ Dempsey+~

Went wine company with Dear and QT last Thursday...

It's a very nice place for wine...

The price for the wine is reasonable too...

We had rose there...

Quite nice....

Had a great time chatting there...

Very cosy and comfortable...

No stress...

Just chat and savour the wine...

It's a great way to relax...

Looking fwd to our next wine session...

:P

Before that we went to Zhen Fa Steamboat at Novena...

The food is okie...

I didnt really like the steamboat as I don like the ingredients..

Cos I can't find my fav golden mushroom..

Haha...

But I like that they have the BBQ section and Teppanyaki section..

Whereby u choose the meat u want, give it to them and they will cook for u..

So much better than cooking it urself...

The price is quite reasonable cos they have desserts like Eclairs...

And fresh seafood..

But limited portion...

But quite fresh...

Not a bad place..

But I prefer my La Mei Zi...

Haha...

Cos of the mushroom..

Heez...

Anway...

Really had a great time that night...

Behaving like we no need work the next day..

Haha...

Fri went shopping with QT aft work..

Bought a lot of stuff...

Haha...

Recently heard of many people 奉子成婚...
Seems like there is this trend of pre-marital sex...
Just saw on the magazine...
The editor say sth like "nowadays hard to find a virgin"....
Also saw on the newspaper that parents are bringing their daughters for the cervical cancer vaccine...
When asked, they said that as the age of children having forbidden fruit is getter earlier and earlier, they might as well ensured that their daughters are protected from STDs...
Hmm.....
What sort of logic is this...I pondered....
Okay...
It may seems logical....
But by doing so, is one actually encouraging children to try the forbidden fruit earlier...
As they think they are already protected?
I'm not sure if this will backfire...
And recently friends have been telling abt ppl having shotgun marriage...
I think this isn't right...
Would the marriage be happy?
Would it be ever lasting?
There are too many of such cases resulting in failed marriages...
And the most innocent party is the kid...
Haiz...
I don noe wat to make of this trend...
Maybe I'm too pious....
Too sheltered...
Having been in an all girls' school...
Or perhaps my parents are so much stricter with me..
I alwys think girls that smoke, say vulgarities and having pre-marital sex to be so ...
Gross...
Haha....
And I just happen to know one of such woman...
Can't blame me for disliking her so much...
She just so irritating and disgusting...
She just feels dirty and cheap to me...
Haha...
I still rmbr once when we were talking abt playing truant...
The mother was so upset le...asking how come teacher nv do anything...
And she can said.....
"Aiyoh...bery easy to play truant de. Last time I oso play truant..Just write letter and forged signature!"
Another of such incident was when she was trying to counsel her SIL,
Asking her to understand, but she started saying F*** words in front of the girl...
I think she would make a very bad mother...
Wat sort of example is she leading for the youngsters??
Somemore she's 奉子成婚...
Still wanna advise other ppl to be good when she herself is like that?
I think she is a very bad influence loh...
Just hope she can be more 检点。。。
I hope people can be more 洁身自爱。。。
Treasure yourself...
Maybe I'm too traditional...
I alwys believe one's chasity shd be given to the one that u really love...
On your wedding night...

~+Long Weekend+~

Haha....

Seems like there is quite a lot of long weekends this term...

But I'm not complaining...

Haha....

Actually everyweek shd be a four day week with 3 days of rest...

2 days is just not enough...

3 days just nice...

Heez...

Been looking forward to last week's long weekend...

Wednesday evening met up with my Bery Bery
Besties...

Had a GREAT time that day...

Just chat and eat and ever so comfortable with everyone..

Where we can be ourselves and just talk abt anything under the sun...

I love such sessions...

But miss our shopping session too...

So we plan one on the 17th...

Heez...

Looking fwd....

During dinner...

They started asking me abt the progress on my wedding..

Haha...

Not much time to plan anything leh...

Ever so busy everyday with work and house...

Haiz...

Must settle the house renovation...the colours for the rooms...

A lot of things to do and plan....

Somemore so busy with work...

So wedding preparations will start in June bah..

Hopefully..

Haiz..

Like so many things to do like tt...

Initially wanted to go for June hols oversea de...

But cant settle on the place...

And with the H1N1 virus going ard...

May just put a hold to our hols..

Mebbe we shall just book a hotel resort at Sentosa and have a relaxing time there..

Haha...

Anyway...Looking fwd to June hols...

Thursday after work went dinner at Sizzler with colleagues...

AGAIN...

Haha.....

Yah...Again...

Every few weeks we have been going for dinner....

I like such gatherings too...

Cos it feels good that we are not only colleagues but frens too...

It makes the work place a so much beta place to work in....

Really treasure my dept and my colleagues...

Thanks for being there for me when I'm down or stressed...

After dinner at Sizzler, we went for coffee at Old Town Coffeeshop..

Not bad, they have many varieties of coffee there...

Quite nice...

After that I initially wanted to go shopping..

But they wanted to go for third session..

Haha...

So we went to Canopy in the Park (Bishan Park)

Haha...I always go there for jogging...

Know there are restaurants there...

But have not been interested enuff to step in...

Mebbe cos too near my house...

If I dress up, I wld want to go town....

So nv go there b4...

That day went with them there then I realised that it's quite pretty inside...

Esp the alfresco part....

They have "candles" on the table..

Romantic....

We chatted quite a while there....

LEft ard 11 plus...

Friday I went breakfast with family...

Then caught Wolverine with my sis and dear...

GREAT show!!

I love it!!

Haha...Can they film another Xmen soon??

Haha...I like such movies...

Hugh Jackman is handsome..

Hahahaha....

Saw the preview for Harry Potter!!

Seems like bery nice!!

Cant wait for it to be released!!!

Haha...

After show went shopping...

Alwys shopping..

HAha....

Wat to do...

Sat was spend slacking at Dear's home...

Sunday went lunch with QT and had a long chat with her..

Happy for her!!

Heez...

But ate a lot that day...

Lunch at Crystal Jade, then took train to AMK walk ard...

Then went New York New York for desserts...

Waffles!!

Yummy!!

Heez..

Then to feel less sinful, we walked frm AMK to YCK..

Haha....

Quite a great way to spend Sunday too..

Just slacking and chatting and eating and shopping..

Haha...

So all in all..

It's a quite weekend!! Starting from Wed...

Haha...

Looking fwd to the next long weekend...

Cos it's also our third year anniversary!!
