Been thinking for quite a while...
Should I change my blog to livejournal or wordpress...
I like the partial locking up of entry...
But blogspot don have this function..
Yet I have feelings for my current blog..
Been with me for 4 years le..
Been thru up and downs with me..
Hearing my sorrows and joys..
And I love the blogskin I changed to..
Amended most of the colours painstakingly..
(cos I'm a IT idiot)..

Feeling so sad now..
Dear dear going reservist on Monday...
Super upset...
This time, he will need to stay in camp for one day...
Although it's only one day but we haven been away from each other before..
I will be staying all alone at home on Monday.. :(

I have come to depend on Dear dear quite a lot.
He fetches me to work everyday...
He tries to fetch me everyday after work..
Fetch me to tuition then wait 1 and half hour for me everytime..
For Three times a week..
Being there for me every minutes and seconds..
I'll sms him my feelings and thoughts of everything everyday...
But in camp, he wun be able to reply asap le..
Dear dear has become my pillar of support....
I'm going to feel so lost without him..
Feel so sad.. :(
Torturous 2 weeks..

老公的生日快到了。。

但不知道送些什么。。

该送的都送过了。。。

还确实难想到该送什么。。

今天突然在准备上班时。。

想到了老公的生日礼物。。

觉得一年一年这样的过着。。

其实好快。。。

快到有些可怕。。

一眨眼，老公就要29岁了。。

明年就步入30了。。。

有点可怕。。。

老了，会变得怎么样呢？

老了，我会在做什么呢？

更可怕的是。。。

能健健康康地步入黄金年华吗？

我又来了。。。。

多愁伤感的女人。。。

就是不能活在当下。。

头脑老是转来转去。。

想个不停。。

好久好久好久好久没上博克了。

真的好久了。。

几个月吧？

突然今天看到一个朋友的MSN Nick。。。

好有感触。。。

是刘若英新的专辑的一段话。。

有些人不能在一起，可他们的心在一起；

有些人表面上在一起，心却无法在一起；

有些人从没想过要在一起，却自然而然地在一起；

有些人千辛万苦地终于在一起了，却发现他们并不适合在一起。

就算最后，我们没有在一起，

至少爱，还是会在一起。

爱要的只是timing，不需要多聪明

爱在一起，就在一起！

有一点点的感触。。。

我和丰的爱情。。。。

对于我来说。。。

应该是：

很久以前真的没想过会和他在一起。。。

甚至看到他远远走来就避得远远的。。。

这样的“你追我跑”的游戏玩了４年　。。

但最后。。。

真的也不知道发生什么。。。

我们就这样在一起了。。。。

还组织了家庭。。。。

有属于我们的家。。。我们的爱。。

缘分好奇怪。。。。

从来没想过会喜欢上丰。。。

但就莫名奇妙地爱上了他。。

He tucks me in bed even though he's rushing his work..

He waits for me somewhere(a few hours) when I'm having dinner with my friends..

He helps me massage my back when I'm having backache..

He cheers me up when I'm sad..

He sayangs me when I'm feeling low...

He hugs me when I cry..

He calms me down when I throw tantrum at him..

He's alwys there for me..

Even when I'm unreasonable..

It's the one at Suntec...

The ambience is good...

Service is very good too..

We ordered a lot of food!!!

Ordered so much that another waiter brought us a plate of food, was putting it down when the one serving us said it's not ours..

Then after they chk...realised it's ours!

Haha....

Cos the food like bery nice ma...

So tempted to order many different one to try..

But all small small serving...

In the end I didnt eat alot..

Dear's the one that finish all..

Went for a simple dinner with QT on the 16th after my EG selection..

She suggested Robertson Quay...

I only went there once...

Didn't noe it's so pretty there..

Like a small town on its on....

There were many foreigners there and it felt a bit like overseas...

Nice place...

We went to EM cafe for dinner...

Nice alfresco place with good ambience...

Rather pretty...

We were there till the sunset..

From sun set to night time...

The feel was different..

A very nice place..

Food was okay...

Later we saw this nice bridge...

After that we went to the last time Chocolate Factory...

Ordered their fondue and cake..

Went to Black Angus...

Cos I had a craving for steak..

The food as usual was yummy...

Cos went there for our anniversary and already posted the food pic there le...

I'm really glad that I have them as my BEST BEST frens...

They were there for me thru out everything...

We went thru O level, A level, and then Uni life...

Been thru lots of up and downs...

And we alwys emerge out beta...

I really hope our frenship will last till the end of time...

My dear fren went London 3 weeks ago...

And I got her to help me buy 3 Longchamp bags..

Heez..

And they are so much cheaper than in Singapore...

Yipee..

I love them...

But I should have gotten one at the medium size..

All mine are small de...

Cannot bring to work....

In inclusive of these 3 and the those bought previously..

I have 5 le..

Haha..

And I still wan somemore!!!

Don noe why leh..juz find them quite good to use...

Should have gotten a medium size then I can bring to work..

The sales girl told me some time in August they should be coming...

And Singapore oso having it...

But I still got it cos it's cheaper..

And I can use it with my sundresses temporarily...

So that I can match all my sun dresses...

So dear dear brought me to Black Angus...

It's near Orchard Parade hotel..

Saw some comments of it on a food blog and it seems quite good..

Initially wanted to go Lawry's Prime Ribs de..

But the picture doesnt seem so tempting..

So in the end we chose Black Angus...

We went out ard 7 plus at night..

Haha...

Slacked at home for the whole day..

Wanted to go shopping but in the end too tired to go out..

Quite expensive...but it's bery classy...

However it needs alteration...

So we went to collect on that day...

We took a cab to Black Angus...

Seemed so silly...

Dinner at Black Angus was good..

Although the decor of the restaurant wasn't very romantic..

But there wasn't many people there tt night since it was a Monday nite...

They gave us seats that were quite secluded..

The restaurant had quite a texas feel...

Ordered a wild wild west onion bloom...

Like those at Outback...

For main course...

I order rib-eyed steak that comes with hay stick onions, vege and garlic mashed potato..

Dear dear ordered sirloin steak that comes with vege and french fries...

Both main course come with either a salad or soup..

Me got the clam chowder...

Dear dear got the salad...

The soup is just so yummilicious..

Haha...

Yum Yum...

The salad is quite nice too..

I didn't quite like my rib eye steak cos it's has too much fats....

But dear dear like it..

So we exchanged..

I love the hay stick onions and the onion bloom..

The rib eye is really quite good...

And the portion were quite big..

Considering the fact that dear dear can eat quite a lot..

I think Mezza 9 Bar is my second fav...

I like the lightings and the sofa seats..

They are cosy and comfortable..

Their drinks are quite good in the sense that they aren't stingy with the alcohol in the martinis..

I ordered my fav frozen strawberry margarita...

Asked Dear dear to order dessert wine as I wanna try if it's nice..

Then can bring QT there for our wine session if it's nice..

We drank slowly...

Just enjoying each other's company...

I like this type of chilling session...

Just relax and listen to the music and sip our drink slowly..

We left around 11 plus since we need to work the next day...

That brings a end to our 3rd year anniversary celebration..

It's a very nice place for wine...

The price for the wine is reasonable too...

We had rose there...

Quite nice....

The food is okie...

I didnt really like the steamboat as I don like the ingredients..

Cos I can't find my fav golden mushroom..

Whereby u choose the meat u want, give it to them and they will cook for u..

So much better than cooking it urself...

The price is quite reasonable cos they have desserts like Eclairs...

Recently heard of many people 奉子成婚...
Seems like there is this trend of pre-marital sex...
Just saw on the magazine...
The editor say sth like "nowadays hard to find a virgin"....
Also saw on the newspaper that parents are bringing their daughters for the cervical cancer vaccine...
When asked, they said that as the age of children having forbidden fruit is getter earlier and earlier, they might as well ensured that their daughters are protected from STDs...
Hmm.....
What sort of logic is this...I pondered....
Okay...
It may seems logical....
But by doing so, is one actually encouraging children to try the forbidden fruit earlier...
As they think they are already protected?
I'm not sure if this will backfire...
And recently friends have been telling abt ppl having shotgun marriage...
I think this isn't right...
Would the marriage be happy?
Would it be ever lasting?
There are too many of such cases resulting in failed marriages...
And the most innocent party is the kid...

Maybe I'm too pious....
Too sheltered...
Having been in an all girls' school...
Or perhaps my parents are so much stricter with me..

Another of such incident was when she was trying to counsel her SIL,
Asking her to understand, but she started saying F*** words in front of the girl...
I think she would make a very bad mother...
Wat sort of example is she leading for the youngsters??

Still wanna advise other ppl to be good when she herself is like that?
I think she is a very bad influence loh...

Had a GREAT thursday last week...

Went shopping, movie then dinner at Canele...

Think I'm addicted to Canele...

Just had supper at Canele last Saturday...

Ans I went to Canele for dinner on thurs...

This time tried their pasta and desserts..

I had the Marinara Spaghettini...

And Dear had the Crabmeat Spaghettini..

Quite nice...

But both are spicy...

I prefer the original tomato favour spaghetti...

But still nice cos the seafood was bery fresh...

After main course, we ordered L'amour dessert...

Rose petal favoured ice-cream with swirls of raspberry and rose meringue and lychee..

Yummy!!

I love it...

Cos it's not bery sweet...

Yummy yummy...

Then ordered the Le Royale cake again..

Tried their macarons too..

Really nice..

It has been a movie week..

Watched Marley and Me on Thurs...

It's quite a good movie..

Cried till eyes swollen at the end of the show..

I think the movie is quite good in the sense that it actually taught us life values.

Like wat are important in our life...

Sacrifaces that we have to make in our life for the other one...

It made me ponder....

Whether I would be willing to give up my career for my kids...

Whether if I will be ready for a kid in 2 years time...

Whether if I can take care of them...

Haha...

But still long lah...

Can still think abt it..

Heez...

Another movie we watched was My Bloody Valentine 3D..

1st time watched 3D movie...

Interesting...

Haha...

New experience...

Thrilling...

Especially cos it's a horror film..

Haha....

But it's gross lah...

Very gruesome...

And heart beat very fast cos it felt like the killer was after you...

At some part was quite funny...

Cos the audience (we) anticipated something scary, and we screamed..

Only to find that it was false alarm...

Then we will start to laugh at ourselves...

Haha...

And at those "real life" scenes, that seem to be so near to us...

We can hear ppl saying "wow...cool.." and making noises..

Haha...

All in all...

It was quite an interesting experience...

Quite fun

Muz watch it in 3D cos without the 3D effect, it's actually nothing

Had our solemnisation on the 20th of Dec 2008...

Didnt have chance to really sit down n blog abt it...

And just managed to get my ROM photos from the photographer...

So dragged till now to blog...

After months of preparation...

Finally the day has arrived....

Was so worried that it will rain on that day...

Cos mine was a outdoor venue....

By the poolside at the roof level....

Chose this venue cos I love the scenery and ambience...

But was scared that it will rain....

Esp since Dec is a rainy season...

Crossing my fingers...and praying everyday for good weather...

Thank god the weather was great on that day...

Cloudy and windy...

Perfect weather......

That day was a busy day...

Was busy tying the ribbons on the cupcakes (wedding favours) the night before...

Woke up early that day to collect my hand bouquet and rose petals....

Then we rushed off to my Bridal studio for my make up and hairdo...

After seeking advise from my MUA, we decided to leave my hair straight and do sth simple..

And we decided not to put flowers on my hair...

Perhaps to leave it till the wedding day....

Our photographer, Mr Neo, went there to take a few pictures of me having my makeup....

After that...

We rushed off to CVH...

After checking into our bridal suite, we went to Changi Beach to take some pre-rom shoots...

The weather was fine and Mr Neo was wonderful....

It was fun but rather tiring....

Just imagine it's the real wedding album..

Faints...

Haha....

Then we rushed back to our hotel room...

Only to find Dear's family there le...

Surprisingly they were on time....

They were all dressed up...

We went to our venue at the poolside to settle everything and to take more photos there...

I just love the scenery and ambience there....

Luckily I went ahead with this choice...

Else I think I will regret loh...

Everything was in a rush that day...

Or maybe I was too high...

Haha...

Funny thing is we just rush up to the venue..

Without bringing anything...

We left our wedding band, marriage cert and many other things in our room...

We had our march in...

Was so nervous, my heart was thumping so fast...

We managed to complete our march in amist all the petals and bubbles...

Celebrated Dear's Dad's bday last Saturday...

Woke up early in the morning and went for dim sum...

We ate a total of 38 plates loh...

Almost all empty le..... :p

Scary...

Haha....

But the food was still okie...

Had a happy time eating n joking...

After breakfast....

Dear's dad sdnly tot of going to somes farms in Lim Chu Kang...

So there we go...

We went to a vege farm 1st...

Saw many different type of vegetables...

Then we went to a mushroom and cactus farm...

Saw a heart-shaped cactus...

So cute..

Interesting..

Then we went to a fruit farm...

Saw the dragonfruit plant...

1st time see the whole dragonfruit plant...

On the way back we saw ppl plucking some fruits frm a tree...

Dear's dad introduced some fruits to us...

We plucked a few too...

Hehe....

It was fun...

Like staying in the countryside...

Went home in the evening and cut bday cake...

Then rest a bit....

Later, one of dear's sis insist on treating her dad for his bday...

Although dear's dad got sth on but still she wanna...

So at nite we went for dinner...

Together with the disgusting woman and her baby...

As usual...

She likes to get other ppl to hold her baby for her while she eat...

Firstly she got her MIL to hold for her...

Then when all of us 看不过去...

And ask MIL to put the baby in the pram....

Only Dear's big sis got up to help her with it...

The mother of the baby just sit there and ignore...

Everyone saw and think that it's so wrong...

She alwys like that....

Then she will say is MIL or FIL like to hold de...

The baby like not hers like tt...

Gross....

Alwys find her so disgusting and mean....

Many many stories of her such as asking her MIL to wash undergarments for her....

Gross right???

Went to my cousin's wedding on 23rd Nov...

At Marriott Hotel...

Food was quite nice...

At Orchid Country Club.....

The ballroom there is actually quite nice...

The reception area is very big too...

Quite grand....

Last week...

Don noe which day...

Dear dear and I went to Liang Court for dinner..

As we wanted to go see the ballroom of Novotel...

We had our dinner at this Jap restaurant call Tampopo...

The food okie only...

Their signature dish is this black pig...

Eeks...

I don like..

But Dear dear ate tt...

Haha...

I don really like pork...

And although they say this pork frm Japan is stress free and healthy..

I still don like..

Haha...

After dinner we went to Nectarie again for dessert...

Heez...

But chose the wrong waffle topping this time..

Wanted sth new...

But the wild strawberry topping not as nice as caramelised banana....

After dessert...

We pop over to Novotel...

The ballroom was okie...

I didnt really like the backdrop of the stage...

So have to look ard again..
